Pro Sports Goes with Canadian Streaming Technology for Video Analysis, Player Coaching

Live video from pro sports match coverage is being streamed to mobile devices for the sake of performance analysis as much as fan engagement.

In fact, a new video streaming platform developed in Canada is being used by major international sports leagues so that team coaches and athletic performance analysts can instantly download clips to their tablet and add technical comments to the selected footage. The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) has announced its official partnership with the Richmond Hill, ON developer of myplayXplay, following their successful trial of the live video streaming technology during the recent RBS 6 Nations Championship.

myplayXplay is developed and owned by Avoca Applications Solutions (AAS), which develops data and video streaming applications and analytic solutions.
